I know, it sounds like a stretch but if you really break it down to it’s simplest form traffic signs are very similar to super heroes. check it out…
1) Super heroes save lives…..Stop sign prevent two or more cars crashing which could lead to tragedy.
2) Super heroes keep people safe from danger….Pedestrian crossing signs keep people safe from speeding cars.
3) Super heroes promote well being and health….No smoking signs, and No Idle signs do the same.
4) Super heroes keep woman and children safe….”Slow Down Children in the Area” signs keep children safe. I haven’t seen a “slow down woman in the area sign but let me know if you have, it would help get my point across.
5) Super heroes slow a speeding train….Speed limit signs slow speeding cars and trucks.
6) Super heroes can sense danger ahead….Yield signs can do the same.
7) Super heroes keep natures animals safe from danger….Caution Deer Crossing Signs also keep natures animals safe from danger.
8) Super heroes keep bad guys and criminals from mischievous behavior…No Trespassing signs, Security and Surveillance Signs do the same.
9) Super heroes put out fires….No Parking Fire Lane signs allow fire trucks to get easy access to put out fires.
10) Super heroes take extra care of the disabled….Handicap parking signs also take extra care of the disabled.
Now that you realize the similarities between super heroes and traffic signs be sure to pay attention to them, listen to them and you will keep yourself and others out of harms way.
